Saadiq Mohiuddin will speak about his recent project predicting traffic collisions in Calgary using open data. Saadiq is a transportation engineer with an interest in data visualization, machine learning and deep learning and using technology to better understand mobility in cities. Our first guest speaker for Year 2 is Travis Parker Martin, Co-Founder of @BootKikand #MadeInCalgary. He will be sharing his insights on the Google Map project identifying accessible restaurants in Calgary as well as his passion for using technology to solve problems.

New projects that get support from members will join the three projects that were launched last year. There will be time at the meetup to work on the projects and to network with other members.
